Drum Room Ceiling and Exterior Wall

Here's a shot of the east side of the drum room looking at what will be the exterior wall.  From this shot you get a rough idea of the concept behind the drum room's ceiling.  Count 'em.  There's not one, not two, but three ceilings!  Each ceiling is insulated, has two layers of drywall with a "SHEET BLOK" sandwiched inbetween, and the bottom two ceilings also have an air gap, (although that's not apparent from this angle).  What is "Sheet Blok"?  It's a product made by Auralex that is a very heavy and very dense limp mass vinyl material that delivers sound protection 6db more than a solid lead barrier would!  And here we've got THREE layers of this stuff!  Just doing what we can to limit the drum noise sneaking upstairs where there are light sleepers!
